Jim Lintner, III founded LASER Accounting & Consulting Services in 2005 as a way to help others achieve their business goals. With almost 25 years of accounting and operations experience, Jim has been helping small companies succeed by educating and teaching them about the importance of strong cash flows and solid accounting controls and practices. In 2012 & 2016, he was one of three finalists selected by Business First CFO of the Year. In 2013, Jim was selected as the Business First CFO of the Year.

Jim has served in financial and operational roles for several successful start-ups, including Spreadshirt, Inc., RentalHouses.com and The Learning House. In 2004, he was part of the senior management team at Strategic Marketing, Inc. that was recognized by the selection committee of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Jim earned his undergraduate degree from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with a secondary concentration in Finance. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree with Honors from Bellarmine University’s Rubel School of Business in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jim has been a member of several professional organizations, including the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Bellarmine University Rubel School of Business Advisory Board.

Jim currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and four children.
